Because of our love for high-quality textiles
& artisanal craftsmanship, and thanks to inspiration we gained from the paintings of Mauricio Sbarbaro, we decided to create decorative home accessories for
contemporary interiors.

Artist’s biography
Mauricio Sbarbaro (born in 1960) began painting in his home town of Montevideo in Uruguay whilst studying architecture. In 1993 he moved to Europe and settled in Cadaqués, (Costa Brava, Catalonia). As someone who has sailed all his life, abstract artist for the last twenty years - the small port of Cadaqués and the Mediterranean Sea provide his inspiration.
Our cushion partner
Casa Liza has entrusted the production of its cushions to KISANY. The aim is to offer East African women a brighter future. Social enterprise KISANY assists vulnerable women in Kigali (Rwanda) and Goma (DR Congo) in gaining education & employment, and in increasing their self-reliance.
All our cushions are exclusively hand-embroidered.
